Couples & Relationship Therapy

I offer therapeutic services for couples, romantic partnerships, and spouses. I also provide therapeutic services for relationships that are not intimate or romantic, such as those between business partners, adult children and parents, or siblings/family members.

This therapy offering is for all individuals and partnerships. Whole Self Therapy is fully LGBTQIA+ & Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity Affirming, welcoming all relationships and experiences. However you have learned to love or are loved in relationships, you are welcome here.

How will therapy help me with this?

These sessions will help you deepen your understanding of yourself, the other person and support you on your journey towards your goals, whether they are reconnection, communication skills, or overall relationship health.

This process may take a few sessions or be a long-term piece of work. Together, we will work in a collaborative sense. There may be tasks and things to implement between sessions that foster exploration and connection and support you in your goals.

My main goal is to support you on this journey, to challenge when needed, and to support you and your relationship. As I work, the relationship between you is my priority, and this is where my work rests, in supporting and equipping you as you seek to communicate, process and heal.

Session Fees

Sessions for couples and those seeking relationship therapy are priced at £120 for a 60-minute session.

Please note that the Counselling Assessment is 75 Minutes and this is priced at £130.

Session Frequency

For those seeking therapy sessions, I work with what you feel you need and can commit to. Sessions can be either weekly or fortnightly.

For those who would like fortnightly sessions, there will be a more practical element of working on your relationship between sessions.

Locations

I offer sessions for couples and those seeking relationship work in Marylebone, Clapham Junction, or remotely via Zoom.

The free consultation call will be online via Zoom.

The Process

  • This form asks you for your personal information, GP Details, availability and desired goals for couples or relationship therapy; which is used to determine the next steps.

  • This 20 minute online video consultation will provide the chance for us to meet, for you to share about yourselves, and for me to be able to hear more about your hopes and expectations for therapy. This opportunity gives you a chance to ask questions and see if we are a good fit.

  • This will be our first time meeting for a longer period. The assessment meeting will be a much longer at 75 minutes.

    This assessment looks at each person’s story and history, mental health experiences, and your hopes and expectations around the things bringing you to counselling- both together and individually.

    The longer session allows for adequate time in which we can look at your experiences, which will act as a frame for us as we work together towards your goals.

  • This is where we will begin with the work, with the history you have shared and your expectations of what you want out of the sessions, we will begin working towards the goals you have.

    At the end of this, we will review and see how things felt and whether you would like to continue sessions or end there. This will serve as a trial session so that you get a feel of how things might be in sessions, and allow you to reflect on what you might need in the therapeutic process.

  • From your first session we will continue towards your goals and what you would like out of therapy.

    Typically, those seeking couples or relationship support are in therapy sessions until they feel that the goals have been reached, anywhere between 6 months and beyond. We will take regular reviews and check in how things feel. You can opt for weekly or fortnightly sessions.
